D'Orsay Museum.
Only pictures I could take, but it was fabulous.
D'Orsay
Ron' favourite place.
Mile after mile o beautifully tended vineyards. Very impressive.
A reproduction of the Hermione. Sailed by Lafeyette to America. He fought with the Americans In the War of Independence.
Grande Hotel de Bordeaux
We took a cooking class. The chef came from a Michelin 2 star restaurant and now is the executive chef at a five star hotel.
We made scallops
And fish
And a lemon dessert.
Rouen
a Charnal Hose. Bones of those who died in the plague were kept here when there was no more burial space. Now, until just recently, students lived here.
Joan D'Arc burned here.
The famous Chateau Margeau, foremost of the Bordeaux Chateaux
An oyster feast on board the ship. Learned to shuck oysters.
Another chateau in Bordeaux. There are 9000 Chateaux in Bordeaux. To acheive Chateau designation, the grapes must be grown, crushed, aged and bottled on the premises. Some are very small, one is in a garage, calls his wine Chateau Garage. Some as you see are very opulent.
Our selfie at the Tower.
Fishing village, Honfleur
We are having lunch at a Chateau which grows only Sauternes
